Privacy & Data Handling

•Account information: To provide the service, we store the email address and basic profile information you provide when you register or sign in.
•Invention and work product: The drafts, assessments, source-code uploads, and submission materials you create are stored in your account so you can access and manage them.
•Source code and secrets: When you upload source code for copyright deposit preparation, it is processed to detect and redact sensitive material. You are responsible for removing secrets, credentials, and personal data before uploading. Do not upload material you do not have the right to share.
•AI processing: Your inputs are sent to third-party AI model providers to generate analysis and drafts. Avoid including information that is subject to a confidentiality obligation you cannot waive.
•Retention: You can delete your drafts, assessments, and uploaded materials at any time from within the app. Deletion removes the item from your active workspace.
•We do not sell your personal information.

Your Responsibilities

•You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of anything you submit to a government authority using output from this app.
•You must ensure you own or have the rights to any material you upload, and that copyright deposits do not include third-party, open-source, AI-generated, or trade-secret content in violation of applicable rules.
•You must disclose any AI-generated content in copyright registrations where required by the U.S. Copyright Office.
•You must list only natural persons as inventors on patent applications.

Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

•Trueread LLC provides the app "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
•To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trueread LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its output.
•You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trueread LLC and its affiliates from claims arising out of your use of the app or your submission of any materials to third parties or government authorities.
